The King of Siam, located on the East side of Tucker Blvd., at 760, unit B, Tucker Blvd., features authentic Sawasdee Thai cuisine. At the end of last year, Nattakan Apiwongwam and Anuchat Borirug purchased The King of Siam.
"I am please to say that my aunt -- Marisa Xutima -- is bringing her many years of experience of successfully managing of a restaurant with her as she helps us manage our restaurant," Nattaken said.
After building up a Thai Restaurant in Southern California to a great level of success Marisa returned home to Thailand, for about 10 years, to not only enjoy family times, but hone her skills native cooking of fresh foods with their uniquely Thai flavors that we offer to all who come into the restaurant.
Visitors to King of Siam can get Appetizers like Krab Rangoon, Egg Rolls and Tod Mann, tasty Soups such as Tom Yum Goong and Wonton and Salads ranging from Papaya Salad to Yum Shrimp or Squid Salad, just to name a few. We offer a "From the Sea" section with a multitude of fresh dishes including, but not limited to, Pla Jian, Sweet and Sour Fish and Phad Pong Karee. For those looking for meals off of the land you can choose from Onion Chicken, Phad Broccoli, Pepper Steak and more. We, at The King of Siam, offer Spicy Dishes as well: Green or Red Curry, Phad Bai Kapow and the Cashew Nut Special, for example. The menu shows a diverse offering of Duck dishes and House Specialties such as: Fried Calamari, Param Steamed Chick and Pineapple Yellow Curry Fired Rice as well.
We have a few deserts and Thai Traditional Ice Tea, as well as hot tea, beer and sodas to offer clients.
We have daily specials and welcome our customers to ask us for something off menu to be cooked weather it is for them to eat in our restaurant or for a take-out order. In addition, we offer all seniors a 15 percent discount every day.

We are now open seven days a week Sundays -- Thursdays we are open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.m and Fridays and Saturdays we are open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. We welcome larger parties, please call ahead so we can be set up when you get here. And don't forget we accept Take-Out orders as well," Marisa said with a gracious smile.
